Because I Was Taught To Dream / by Roni Delmonico

I play music of all kinds when I'm editing photographs and I find my inspiration quite often from lyrics. One thing that is often true, is that song lyrics are quoted with attribution to the artist who sang the song, rather than to the songwriter who was the true mastermind behind the lyrics. I love Faith Hill's song Fireflies, and she certainly did make it famous with her unique blend of warmth and whimsy, but that success would never have happened, if it weren't for Lori McKenna, who penned those lyrics in the shadow of a megastar.
