In a blaze of frozen winterlight... she came. Reaching down with the gentlest of gestures, she planted the seed of inspiration without a sound, and then quietly flew away.
In that most glorious of spaces between asleep and awake... I picked it up and smiled the sweetest smile. I know just what to do with it, I said.. and stretched with a sleepy yawn.
