There is a place in NY where one of the cleanest lakes in America soothes my soul. On that lake, sits a little cabin, where I like to go when I need quiet. There is no television, and no internet (reliable internet anyway) and it sits on a hill overlooking this beautiful scene. When I wind my way down to the dock at the bottom, I can actually imagine what it must have been like a hundred years ago when the only noise one heard after sundown was the singsong of crickets and the occasional fish bravely splashing up out of the water. I love it there. It feels like being in the midst of a midsummer night's dream....
Every fairy take his gait;
With this field-dew consecrate,
And each several chamber bless,
Through this palace, with sweet peace;
And the owner of it blest
Ever shall in safety rest.
Trip away; make no stay;
Meet me all by break of day.
- William Shakespeare
